Notice: Quadcept Payment System Renewal & Changes to Discount Structure

Dear Valued Customers,
Thank you for using Quadcept products and services.
In compliance with the mandatory adoption of 3D Secure 2.0 (Identity Verification) under the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "Credit Card Security Guidelines", we have renewed our system to further enhance security. Accordingly, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new payment system, "Quadcept Store", effective today, April 1, 2026.
With this renewal, the license purchase function previously available in "Quadcept Manager" has been migrated to "Quadcept Store". Furthermore, as the system update makes it difficult to maintain our previous "Renewal Discount" and "Volume Discount" programs, we regret to inform you that these discount schemes have been discontinued.
Moving forward, a new discount structure will apply based on the license duration selected at the time of purchase. In addition, we will periodically issue discount coupons to ensure you can continue to enjoy our services at a great value.
Please note that the new discount system will apply to all new and renewal license contracts starting today. We remain committed to providing a secure and cost-effective environment for our users and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

- We are replacing the conventional password authentication (3D Secure 1.0) with an advanced security measure that instantly analyzes over 80 risk parameters, including customer device information and purchase history. This highly accurate system is designed to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions, such as credit card theft.
- Simple identity verification (e.g., one-time password) by the card issuer will only be requested when the transaction is deemed to carry a high risk of fraudulent activity.
- By integrating our payment processing with Stripe, which adheres to the global security standard PCI DSS, we ensure a highly secure payment service. This includes multi-layered defenses such as data encryption via SSL/TLS, AI-powered fraud prevention systems, and multi-factor authentication.

Discontinuation of Previous Discounts

- Subscription Period Discount
Under the new discount structure, we will introduce the "Subscription Period Discount", where the discount rate is determined by the "contract period" at the time of purchase. Please refer to the table below for the specific discount rates.

- Distribution of Discount Coupons

In addition to the "Subscription Period Discount", it is possible to further increase the discount rate by applying coupons. Coupon discount rates will vary depending on the details of specific campaigns and events. We plan to distribute coupons from time to time following exhibitions or seminars. Details will be provided on this website and via email, so please be sure to check them.
Action Required / Important Notes for Customers
Request for Credit Card Re-registration
Please note that credit card information registered prior to the migration to "Quadcept Store" has not been transferred. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask customers who wish to pay by credit card to re-register their card information when placing an order on "Quadcept Store".
Modification of Credit Card Sharing Settings
Previously, individual users within a team could manage their own credit card settings. However, this feature has been discontinued in "Quadcept Store", and credit card settings will now be linked directly to the team account.
Consequently, credit card information will now be shared across the entire team by default. Please be advised that it is no longer possible to set or share credit card information on an individual user basis.

Necessary Procedures for Automatic Renewal
For Customers Paying by Credit Card
Please be advised that credit card information from the previous system will be deleted for security purposes. As a result, automatic renewal will not be processed during the transition to "Quadcept Store".
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask you to re-register your credit card and manually complete your license renewal on "Quadcept Store". Once you have manually renewed and enabled the "Automatic Renewal" setting (ON), your subscription will resume automatic updates from the following period onward.
For Customers Paying by Bank Transfer
Your "Automatic Renewal" settings will be carried over to "Quadcept Store". No action is required on your part.
For License Purchases via Trading Companies or Partners
Please request a quote directly from your trading company or partner for pricing regarding Quadcept licenses purchased through them.
Other Notices
Discontinuation of the "1 Month Free" Benefit for Annual Contracts
Previously, we offered one month of free service for 1-year license contracts. However, with the transition to "Quadcept Store", this offer will be discontinued to simplify our pricing structure.
Change in Contract Duration Options
Previously, customers could specify a license duration between 1 and 12 months. Based on recent usage patterns, we have refined our contract options to better serve our customers.
In "Quadcept Store", licenses will now be available in three fixed terms: 1 month, 1 year, or 3 years.
If you wish to use a license for a specific period such as 3 months, you can achieve this by renewing a 1-month license three times (either via automatic or manual renewal).
Payment Methods
The payment methods remain the same.
You can continue to pay via "Prepayment: Credit Card" or "Post-payment: Bank Transfer".
Issuing Quotes with the New Discount Structure
On the Quadcept portal, only users with "Owner" or "Administrator" privileges can generate quotes while logged in. If you do not have these privileges, please request a quote from your account Owner or Administrator.
Please note that Coupon Codes are universal and can be used by all users, regardless of their account privileges.
- Coupon codes will be sent sequentially to "Owner" account holders via email with the subject line: "[Quadcept] Notice of Discount Coupon".
Please be advised that if you have not received this specific email, you are not eligible for the coupon discount. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
