Default Environment Settings

It is possible to save default settings for when creating new documents.

These can be saved according to the document.
Therefore, it is recommended that you save frequently used settings as defaults in advance.

There are two methods. Configuring the Default Environment

- By Saving Each Document Setting as the Default
- By Saving Each Document Setting File and Registering It as the Default

Saving Each Document Setting as the Default
The following will explain how to set defaults when configuring settings.
* Here, schematic sheet settings are used.
(1) Open a document.
(2) Select [Settings] => [Settings].

(3) Click "Save Settings"
=> "Save as Default Environment"

(4) Place a check next to the items that you want to save, and then click "OK".

(5) Click "OK".


 

Saving Each Document Setting File and Registering It as the Default
The following will explain how to register a saved setting file as the default.
* The following will explain how to register schematic settings as the default for when executing Create New.
(1) Open a document.
(2) Select [Settings] => [Settings].
(3) Click "Save Settings"
=> [Save Settings].
(4) Place a check next to the items that you want to save, and then click "OK".
(5) Select a directory, input the file name, and then click "OK".
(6) Click "OK".
(7) From the top-left settings, select "System".
(8) Select "Default Environment".
(9) Click the "..." button for the Default Environment document you want.
(10) Select a setting file, and then click "OK".
(11) You can confirm that the default has been set.
(12) Click "OK".

To return back to the original defaults at the time of installation, press the "Clear" button to cancel the setting.

Save Settings

Saves current settings.
It is also possible to save partial settings.

Save as Default Environment

Saves current settings as default.
It is also possible to save partial settings as default.

Read Settings Menu

Menu Name Description

Read Setting File

Reads a saved setting file.
It is also possible to read partial settings.

Read Default Environment

Reads default environment settings.
It is also possible to read partial default environment settings.

Initialize Settings

Reads system default settings.
Reads Quadcept system values (values at the time of installation).
It is also possible to read partial system default settings.

When a setting is being edited, the setting cannot be read.
Determine the setting using the "Apply" button, and then read the setting.
