Replace Component

The Replace Component command is used to replace a component placed on a design sheet with one in a database or library cache.

To replace a symbol with a component, use the Replace Symbol to Component command.

Replacing a Component
The following explains how to replace a component placed on a schematic sheet with one in a database or library cache.
(1) Select a component that you wish to replace.
(2) Right-click to select [Replace Component].
(3) Select a component.
(4) Click "OK".
(5) When the same components as your selected component have been found, the right window will appear.

Click "Yes" to replace all the same components, or click "No" to replace your selected component only.
(6) Click "OK".
The selected component(s) will be replaced.

You can replace multiple components at once by selecting on design sheets or with the Object window.
