Export DXF/DWG

With Quadcept, it is also possible to export DXF files and DWG files.

Compatible Formats

The following versions are compatible DXF and DWG formats.

 DXF ascii (R9, R10, R12, R13, R14, R15, R18, R21, R24, R27)
 DXF binary (R10, R12, R13, R14, R15, R18, R21, R24, R27)
 DWG (R12, R13, R14, R15, R18, R21, R24, R27)

Exporting DXF/DWG Data

The following will explain how to export DXF/DWG data from Quadcept data.

Exporting DXF/DWG Data
(1) [File]
=> [Export]
=> [Export DXF/DWG]
==> The "Export DXF/DWG" screen will open.
(2) Click "..." next to Location => The "Save As" screen will open.
(3) Input a File Name.
(4) Click "Save".
(5) Configure the export options.
(6) Click "OK".
(7) Click "OK".
The file will be exported.


Export DXF/DWG Screen

Item Description


Specifies the save location and file name of the DXF/DWG file to be exported.


Specifies the Format for DXF/DWG export.


Specifies the Version for DXF/DWG export.


Specifies the Unit for DXF/DWG export.

Output in Block Mode

Executes Blocking according Drawing Frame, Component/Symbol (Power Supply and Port) units.

Shape of end

 The end shape of Lines and Routes can be selected.

Circle on the edge of line Rectangle on the edge of line

* When read by Quadcept, it will be read as a circle because Rectangle mode is not yet available for the end of the line.

Output Objects

Output Objects can be selected using the checkboxes.
Using checkboxes, it is possible to allow/prohibit output of each layer, and to change the color.
