Import Settings

The following will explain the import settings of Quadcept DesignConverter.

Footprint Conversion

Item Description

Delete the assembly area of the component height 0

Enable this option to delete an assembly area with a component height of 0mm when running the conversion.

* It is recommended to enable this option as an assembly area will be automatically generated in Quadcept.

Convert the top English letter of the component name into a reference

The initial letter of a component name will be converted into a reference when converting footprints.

When this item is checked, the letters from the beginning to the first "_" will be converted into a reference.
*In case "_" does not exist, the alphabet letters from the beginning to the first digit or symbol will be converted into a reference.
 Even when "_" exists, the alphabet letters from the beginning to the first digit or symbol will be converted into a reference.

*If this item is not checked, the default reference will be set.

Item Description

Reference Character Settings

Use this region to define the properties for reference texts (Font, Line Width, Size, Space and Origin Point).

Double Byte Character Settings

When the double byte character exists in data, its font is able to be specified.

*It will work when the following line exists at the first row of the converted ASCII data.

PCB Conversion
