Quadcept - Extract Objects from Cache

Quadcept : About Library Cache

The objects in a library cache can be extracted to a database (*.qdb) or a Quadcept file (*.qcom).

Extract Objects from Cache to Database (All)

The following explains how to extract all the objects in a library cache to a database (*.qdb).

(1)	Open a cache dialog.
*	For how to open a cache dialog, please see Open Cache Dialog.
(2)	Select [Option] -> [Extract Objects from Cache].

(3)	Select "Database" at "To :".
(4)	Click "OK".

(5)	Select a location to import the objects to.
(6)	Click the "-> ALL" button.

(7)	Click "OK".

(8)	You'll be presented with a confirmation dialog for overwriting a file if the same object already exists in the specified location. Select "Overwrite" or "Save as another ID" to save the file.

All the objects in the library cache are extracted to a database.

*	You can also extract the objects separately by choosing a desired library at the left side and then click the "->" button.

Extract Objects from Cache to Database (Separately)

The following explains how to extract the selected objects in a library cache to a database (*.qdb).

(1)	Open a cache dialog.
*	For how to open a cache dialog, please see Open Cache Dialog.
(2)	Select objects that you wish to update and then click [Extract Objects from Cache] in the right-click menu.

(3)	Select "Database" at "To :".
(4)	Click "OK".

(5)	Select a location to import the objects to.
(6)	Click the "-> ALL" button.

(7)	Click "OK".

(8)	You'll be presented with a confirmation dialog for overwriting a file if the same object already exists in the specified location. Select "Overwrite" or "Save as another ID" to save the file.
