Item Content

Comparison

You can select on what basis you want to compare netlists.
When you select 'Connection', even if net names were changed, NET CHANGER compares pin-to-pin connections.
When you select 'Net name', it compares net names. Please select this option when net names are matched.

Options: 'Connect' 'Netname'

Sort

You can select on what basis you want to sort comparison results.

Options: Options: 'Benchmark net' 'Comparison net' 'Only benchmark net' 'Only comparison net' 'Equal'

Connect display

Shows previous and current connections of pins that are detected as difference.
For example, CN1.6<-VCC means No. 6 pin of CN1 was previously connected to VCC.
CN1.6->VCC means No. 6 pin of CN1 is currently connected to VCC.

Case sensitive

Enables case sensitive comparison for reference and net name.

Display identicalness net

Shows matched pin information although there are differences when nets are compared.

Except reference

Except reference of test point from comparison.  Please specify them by inserting single byte space character between them.

Designate Reference  -> match whole word(Search Reference Including Number)
e.g. TP1 JP10

Designate Reference with Wildcard(*) -> left-hand match(Search All References Starting with Specified Character)
e.g. TP* JP*

None polar parts

You can specify reference of parts such as resistor, condenser or coil which doesn't have polarity. Even if Pin 1 and Pin 2 are connected reversely, NET CHANGER judges as correct connection.
You can specify the reference by inserting single byte space character.

Designate Reference  -> match whole word(Search Reference Including Number)
e.g. C1 L10

Designate Reference with Wildcard(*) -> left-hand match(Search All References Starting with Specified Character)
e.g. R* RA* C*

Priority reference

When selected 'Connection' option, NET CHANGER can give priority to the reference you specify. This is useful for checking when IC or resistor array pins were swapped.
You can specify the reference you want to give priority by inserting single byte space character.

Designate Reference  -> match whole word(Search Reference Including Number)
e.g. IC1 U10 CN20

Designate Reference with Wildcard(*) -> left-hand match(Search All References Starting with Specified Character)
e.g. IC* U* CN*
