PCB Layout CAD : Various Convenient Functions

Convert to Filled Object

Closed figures that consist of Lines or Arcs can be converted to Filled Polygons/Planes/Cutouts/Keep Out Areas/Design Rule Areas.
It can be used for import using Import DXF/DWG designed using mechanical system CAD (3DCAD), and Convert to Keep Out Area, etc.

Convert to Filled Object
(1) Select the line that you want to Convert to Filled Object.
  Connected lines and arcs can be selected using Spread Selecting.
* Shortcut: Shift + C
(2) Right click
=> [Convert to Filled Object]
=> [Convert to Filled Polygon].
(* Select the Conversion Menu for the object that you want to convert.)
(3)

A confirmation message stating, "Do you want to delete the objects before the conversion?" will be displayed.
Click either "Yes" or "No".


"Yes": Objects will be deleted before the conversion.
"No": Objects will not be deleted before the conversion. It becomes two; the object before conversion and after conversion.
　 The selected Line is converted to a Filled Object.
